I was born in the Mediterranean, on the island of Eivissa. I studied dance (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) and classical guitar (Conservatorio de Música de Ibiza), continuing later my History studies in the UDL (Universitat de LLeida) . Since a young age I was in contact with different cultures travelling to places like Gambia, Tunisia, Turkey or India. The cultural movement that has always existed in the coasts bathed by the Mediterranean sea has always woken up my curiosity going from paintings in caves or on the walls of old churches to the smell of thyme and rosemary in the warm summers without forgetting about literature and music that connect us from one part to the other of the geography in this area and other parts of the world. To go deeper into my studies I assisted different courses from which I would like to highlight the seminars of medieval singing organized by the AIZ (Asociación Internacional de la Zanfona) in the Sierra de Gredos, courses of Phoenician religion or other aspectcs of Mediterranean culture organized by the Museo Arqueológico de Ibiza. My passion for sephardic music would lead me to discouver a legacy which contains an important source of information about Jewish history in the Iberian Peninsula; music that is a testimony of a rich culture that stablishes a connection through all the routes that were designed in the Mediterranean, creating a bridge in between the mediterranean ports and its rich cultural exchange. Showing this cultural wealth in my passion.
